It's been done hundreds of times already, so if you feel the need to publish your pilgrimage, go for it.
Do you care if people use them? If you are a professional photographer you would want to protect your product. Also, is any personal information shown? Perhaps consider if other people shown in the photos might not want to be displayed.

Water mark is a good idea. Thanks for your advice!Publish only low definition images in forums or webpages. They will look right enough for the casual reader, but they will not be useful for a printed material or more sophisticated presentations.
Add a personal discrete watermark with your logo or name. Most image editing software will do it.
Be specific about rights granted (or not) to the user.
Perhaps the composer and performer of this lovely music would like an acknowledgment too?I have uploaded most photos that I took during Camino trip (32 days).
And one of my friends told me to keep them by myself because other people can copy and paste. This is a concern. What do you think?
