Saw it today. He was a great, positive influence on this forum. Many thanks to Rebeca and all who helped in the project. When I saw it I was reminded of the wisdom and consideration and patience he showed to others. May we all manage to follow in his footsteps.

I've been home about three weeks from my Norte...about a month before I left I kept wondering where Phil was, I didn't know him by name but honestly wondered , "where is Methodist Pilgrim"? As I always felt a warmth with his posts. I remember one particular thing that he posted to a young mother here and I loved his wisdom and time spent with a sweet encouraging post. I had no idea of his passing until a few days before I left. I never go to the forums outside of my certain destination planned and had missed this news. At the time I felt odd saying , "I didn't know!"...I had probably never even posted here back when he shared so much but his absence is very much noticed. Thank you to all who found a special place on the Camino to let him be remembered. What a loss ...
