My husband and I were walking a stretch of the Camino on 12 May 2019. In mid afternoon on the edge of Santa Domingo de la Calzada we came across a walker who was in a bad way, collapsed on the footpath. We stopped to try to help him, and soon others stopped to help as well. An ambulance was soon on the scene, and the paramedics tried to resuscitate the man, who had stopped breathing. At the point at which he was taken to hospital by ambulance we continued on our walk. We really hope that he's okay. Does anybody know? (We believe that he was Dutch.)
