Boa tarde peregrinos, you can get a pilgrim´s certificate in Padron, the PEDRONÍA. All you need is a stamp from the church in Padron in your credential. Then go to the tourism office and collect your certificate. Sorry, today I was told, you can get it in the church as well.

After getting a stamp from the church in Padrón you can get the Pedronía from either the tourist office, or the municipal albergue.

Certainly you have to walk a distance first? 100km? I am planning from direction auroa. Since there is a camino. That should do it. But I want to walk Santiago to Auroa, take a boat to padron than walk to Santiago from Padron. Will I get the Pedro nia than?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I walked into Padron in January and during the winter they give it out at the public library. I recall in hushed voices the librarian asking for my details. Though I walked the Portuguese Way, the lady told me directly that she was only looking to check if I has the church stamp where the Padron is housed. Though she could have reviewed my entire passport she only wanted see that one.
