This sounds interesting! Did you ever hold a meeting in Stockholm? And will there be any more? I looked for the "Albergue section" but couldn't find it.

Six pilgrims (or trekkers) who never met each other before had their first get- together meeting on a sunny day in March in Stockholm. Most of us have been on camino after the meeting: I walked from Burgos to SDC in April, Gisela is walking from SJPP to Santiago right now - she is about 80 K from SDC, Fredrik did his camino in May- June, Josefine walked from Porto to SDC and Fisterra Route a few weeks ago, Hali is in Santiago right now (started from Burgos and walked in 16 days to SDC!) and Viveca and Eva are planning their next ones!!!
We have a group on Facebook called Santiago de Compostela - do you want to join us?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hello all!
Many of you already know that we hope to form a pilgrim ``confraternity`` called Swedish Friends of the Camino. We have met once before in the spring, and Josefine and I met a couple of weeks ago, too.

We would like to have our next meeting Saturday Sept 10 or 11 (or perhaps Oct 8 or 9) in Stockholm and continue our discussion. Hopefully, we can choose a board, establish a name and talk more about what we can and want to do with and in our ``confraternity``. Past and future pilgrims are welcome. We would like to know how many pilgrims are going to attend next meeting.

Thank you Janet - we are planning for the next meeting and it is getting very exciting! There are quite many pilgrims in this little country interested in this! Josefine has forwarded your mail to me!
We are going to let you know how we are getting on!
Thank you very much so far!

PILGRIMS MEETING IN STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
10 September at 13:00. Place:???

We hope to be able to form a non-profit organization with a intention to
-provide information and experience about El Camino
-be able to support, inform and give advice for the future pilgrims
-contribute to the development of pilgrimage on El Camino in Spain, France and Portugal. Possibly,
also on the pilgrimage in Sweden / Scandinavia.
-keep in contact with similar associations in Sweden and other countries
The place for the meeting will be determined when we know exactly how many people will attend. This first meeting is in preparation for the big meeting we are planning for in October. Our aim is to form a working group and discuss a name for the new association. And later in the future meetings to form a Friends / Amigos Association, which already exist in many other countries, including Spain.

And as we have said before, this first meeting will be followed by a new one in October when we hope that our pilgrim friends outside Stockholm also can participate.

Regards

A REMINDER!

We continue our discussions and get to know each other better - con un bocadillo o almuerzo con vino/cerveza. We need to know if you are coming.
Josefine and I will be at Blå Porten about 30 minutes earlier for reservations.

regards from sunny and warm Stockholm
