Where can one obtain a Pilgrim's Passport in Oviedo?

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Hi Jenny we got ours in the municipal albergue. It's a grim looking place from the outside, but much nicer inside!
Thanks. I have heard such bad reports about the albergue that I have booked into a hotel at Oviedo. I can walk to the albergue to get the credential.

We did that too, Jenny. Our hotel was near the train station, so we had a fairly simple exit from the city the next morning. Had we stayed in the albergue, we'd have walked an extra 2kms of pavement.

Buen Camino!

I have stayed there a few times, it is fine and very friendly. Last time I got a room with two single beds.

It would probably be easier for you to get a credential from the cathedral rather than walk uphill to the albergue though

Buen Camino!

Hey, I thought the municipal was great. They were very friendly and my two son and I had a room with four beds to ourselves.

I have been trying to find a way to avoid the circus during the last stages of Frances. In two hours you can take the Lugo - Ourense train and walk the last stages on the Plata. Is it a good idea...
