Camino Frances (2014)
Hello,
My partner and I will be arriving in St Jean Pied de Port early on August 28 and are hoping to set out on bicycles that same day. We are renting or "hiring" bicycles from Tournride and they only deliver bicycles to hotels/albergues in SJPP. We have contacted several hotel/albergues about having our bicycles delivered (and pay for this service of course) without having to stay overnight, however not a single hotel/albergue we've contacted is willing to receive bicycles unless we sleep there as guests. We have even offered to pay the exact same amount for 2 beds, plus an extra fee for receiving the bicycles, but still no success. Does anyone know of a place in SJPP where we can have 2 bicycles delivered on August 27 (for pay) and picked up early on August 28 without us having to sleep there?
Thank you!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Jenae,

Perhaps in SJPdP the Pilgrim office of the Amis du Chemin de Saint Jacques at 39 rue de la Citadelle can help you. Their telephone is (33) 05 59 37 05 09. In season the pilgrims office is generally open from 7h30 to 12h30 and then from 13h30 to 22h. They do not publish an email address.

Bon chance and Bon chemin,

Margaret Meredith

Thank you I will give it a try.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.
