Place to stay in Ribadesella

Hello,

I'm soon heading out on the camino del norte and as per recommendations on this forum, with many albergues being closed and it being peak holiday season in Spain, I've tried to book ahead as much as possible.

After leaving Llanes I'm hoping to get to Ribadesella, but I haven't found any good options on where to stay. Most things on booking are either sold out or require a minimum of 3 night stay. The cheapest option I've found is €110 which is quite hefty!

What advice do you have for finding a place to stay in Ribadesella or nearby? I've looked at Nueva and Cuerres but it's fully booked. Walking on to San Esteban de Leces would make the walk too long for me, I think.

I see that there is an albergue in Cuerres, but it only has 13 beds, which makes me fear it will be full.

A quick look on Gronze.com shows a few more reasonably priced places in Ribadesella including Apartments el Cueto (+34 985 860 680 or +34 625 398 614) and Pension Arbidel. Good luck in finding something suitable.

You could shorten your day out of Llanas and walk about 20K to:
You have to bring your own food. According to the reviews on Gronze it has a kitchen to cook. There are 48 rooms and there are no reservations so if you leave early you shouldn't have a problem.
The next day you have some options in lower priced albergues. Check it out.

Thanks for the reply! They're both completely full, the Arbidel only has around 4 nights left available between now and mid-August, but nothing for when I need it.

I found a good resource for housing on ribadesella.com too, so I'm calling all that aren't on booking but so far they only say they're full.

I got in touch with the donativo in Cuerres too, they responded that they've turned 70 and retired, so that the albergue is closed.

Arbidel is in town and very clean
Yes, but fully booked. Everything on Gronze appears to be fully booked! Was hoping for some non-gronze solutions, like a señora that hosts peregrinos. There's some old phone numbers and names in the Facebook groups, but from 2018-2019 so I don't know if these people are still hosting peregrinos and it feels weird to call a non-business and be like "hey I heard you hosted peregrinos 4 years ago.."
