Hello. My partner and I will be walking from Lisbon to Santiago starting in July. We would like to try and stay in albergues as much as possible. Could you please tell me what we could expect the average cost per person/night to be for accommodation? thanks

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
My wife and I walked from Lisbon to Santiago this year April/May. Half of the nights we stayed in albergues and paid from 5 to 15 euros/person, including those two or three donativos. The one of 15eur. was including breakfast. There is less albergues between Lisbon and Porto.
Second half we stayed in hostels paying from 30 to 45 euros for double room. There are even hotel rooms available in that price cathegory.
Hope this helps.

When you stayed in hostels paying 30 to 45 Euros for a double room was that per person or the amount for both of you? Thanks

In Hostels? Most certainly per room, not per person - that would be the price of an upmarket hotel. BC SY

Agree with SYates - it is per room. That was what my wife and I did when we walked the Camino Portugues.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I can only agree with the above comments - I tried to filter the type to "Albergue" on the list of accomodation at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15YjQVotp9btlbTUx6YDMgFpHcm3__9msYMJ_nHKOe2E/edit#gid=0 and it is in line with the other comments :)

You absolutely must make it a point to stay at O Recuncho do Peregrino in Redondela. Miguel Amoedo is the essence of what the Camino should be. His albergue is spotless, comfy and he is the best host ever. I can't praise him enough. AND it's 10 euro a person! My sister and I had a room with two twin beds but he also has bunks. If you go tell him Renee from the USA who lost his keys referred you.

Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
