I am a new pilgrim of El Camino. I would really like to walk El Camino Aragonese but I cannot find any travel agencies that will help. Does anyone know of any? If not, will someone please give me advice on how to succeed in this route. I am having trouble finding information. Thank you so much!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Travel agencies will have no clue, and it they did would charge you for very little information you cannot find yourself.

Many websites have info on this route:

http://www.mundicamino.com/los-caminos/20/camino-aragones/

http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es/los-caminos-de-santiago/frances/
(Etapas from Somport)

https://www.gronze.com/camino-aragones

If your French is Ok you may also want to look up the Voie d'Arles as it connects to the Aragones.

And have you looked at this sub-forum?

Hope this helps to get you started.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi and welcome to the forum @cbrown

You don't need a travel agency to walk the Camino Aragones (or any other Camino) the majority of pilgrims simply to it by themselves, with a guidebook and just following the yellow arrows/way markings.

@mspath has given you the 'starting links' which will help you to gain a first impression. The Camino Aragones is a wonderful route that is walked far too little imo.

Buen Camino, SY

I add my welcome to those above cbrown.
I can also recommend two phone apps that will give you information about the route, if you have a smart phone and use apps (eg: distances, towns/villages along the way, facilities available in those places, accommodation options, how arduous each stage is, on-line maps showing your location and the camino route etc) . They are available from the iTunes app store and are called:
'Wise Pilgrim - Aragones Camino' and
'Buen Camino - Aragon Route'
the latter is my favourite because I find it more detailed/user friendly

I start the route myself next week, will be walking alone and will use these apps and a book about the Camino I have in Spanish (La Guia Magica del Camino de Santiago) as my only guides. I have no hesitation in doing this because I've walked other caminos alone and learned very quickly that there is nothing to fear and so many wonderful things to gain.

I wish you the best of luck in planning and undertaking your Camino and have no doubt it will be a wonderful experience for you.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Hello and welcome! I agree with the others that you do not need a travel agency - just a little bit of advice and planning using the links here, and from speaking with friendly Forum members. It is a more lonely and less structured camino to begin with, but don't let that put you off :)
