We didn't know the bridge had been shut!
Do you know when it closed and why?

It must have made the walk north a bit tricky.

Olá, the bridge was closed due to a mechanical problem. But there was a shuttle service. Depending on the ship traffic, the bridge may be closed once or twice a day, but only for 10 - 15 min. That means a little rest for the pilgrims.
