Does anyone know when the renovations to the Portico de la Gloria will finish? I did El Camino with my friend this past summer and imagine our disappointment after walking from St. Jean Pied-de-Peu to find it boarded off!! We plan to go back to visit but want to make sure it is open. Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
not until 2011 at the earliest, according to this article from a couple of days ago.

I stopped by there two days ago. The scaffolding is all set up, but I am not sure they have started the actual work yet. It will be a while and 2011 is what I have heard as well.... and knowing how things work here, expect delays.
