New albergue in Cortiça and new restaurant in Tojal

We are currently on the Portuguese Camino . We stayed last night in the Quinta Cortica which opened this spring. It is at the 26 mile mark of the Tomar to Alvaiazere stage. We found it the perfect distance when the Temperature is in the 30’s. This place is beautiful. Two 3 bunkbed rooms with two showers and a toilet each. Receptacle for each bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen and very nice sitting room. You can eat breakfast or take it with you. The only draw back is supper comes from a vending machine but the owner is working on this. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The second item is there is a brand new bar and restaurant across from the gas station in Tojal. It is about 200 meters off the way. You cant see it from the way but it is there. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I gave up looking.

Great news. Will be on route early next year. Not showing up on Gronze yet. Assume you mean 26km mark not 26 mls as 26miles nearly 42km buen camino and enjoy sun

Yes 26 k. Call ahead if you like the owner speaks english and takes reservations. It is right on the way. Right at the Corner in Cortica approx 3.3 k from Tojal. Good Luck with your Camino.
