Staring from Porto on Sept 8th after a visit to Fatima..hoping to make Santiago in 8 days , has anyone done this ? Will I be pushing it too much ? I'm reasonably fit although its a while since I've done a 30 k day .

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

have heard some people walked in 7days or less ,,walked this route a few weeks ago ..took 10days first day from porto to villa de conde alog the coast good alternative in the hot weather . then walked inland to join the central route ,a few long days from villa de conde to barcelos and barcelos to ponte de lima ,, and from tui to redondela but apart from that you should be able to condense two stages into one day ,,but whats the rush

stayed in Albergue de Peregrinos Porto great albergue outside porto city but with metro very close and miguel is a great host

Olá Pablo Mac,

with 30 k days it will be no problem. To save time, my suggestion: Leaving Porto by Metro, Line Povoa de Varzim. Step out at Santa Clara, one station before Vila do Conde. Go 100 m back to the big roundabout.
Turn left into Avenida Bernardino Machado. The next milestone is a big warehouse in the distance. The way is marked with yellow arrows.

It´s about three hours from Santa Clara to Rates.

Bom caminho, Rainer
