Hi all, I am thinking of walking from Porto to Finisterre I would like to complete it, due to time constrains, in 12-14 days, would this be possible?

Thanks Jeff, did you have any rest days in between. I have been reading some of the post here and some people suggest maybe getting a bus through the first two stages and starting at Barcelos, what was your experience and where did you start?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I took the bus to Araujo on the outskirts of Porto and started walking from there. When I got to Vilarino I detoured to Vila do Conde and went to Barcelos the next day. The Porto metro now goes all the way to Vila do Conde so starting from there would also be an option.

Shell, there's a free guide for the Camino Portuguese in http://www.amigosdelcamino.com, in spanish or portuguese (any volunteer to translate it ti english?)

From Porto to Barcelos, 2 days.
I walked Barcelos - Santiago in just six days, but consider 7-8 days yo walked it. And Santiago-Fisterra can be walked in 3-4 days. If you have enough time enjoy the hospitality from the albergue in Corcubion, just 10 km. before Finisterre.

Buen Camino,

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

This has been very helpful. I'm wanting to walk from Porto to Santiago then on to Finisterre. I have heard there is a lot of road walking, is that true? I prefer trails and countryside. I've not walked the French Way yet, thinking this will be a warm up and when I have 4-5 weeks will do the Frances.

I would like to walk the river route in Tui next month. I can see on google maps exactly where it starts, but it seems a bit overgrown. Has anybody used this route this year or last year...
Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
Hi I have searched everywhere to see if there is a luggage service from Lisbon to Porto. I know there is from Porto to Santiago, but Lisbon ???. Thanks for any info.
