Porto to Santiago in September - Accommodation for 5?

Our group of 5 will be walking Camino Portuguese (Senda Litoral, Central, Espiritual) in middle of September this year. When walking the Frances 2 years ago in May/June, I never booked in advance nor worried about finding a bed in an albergue since it was just myself or one other. However, with needing beds for 5 people, I am curious whether we will be able to find beds in the municipal albergues, especially in towns where there is limited accommodation such as Labruge, Sao Pedro de Rates, Armenteira, Vilanova de Arousa, Escravitude. We want to keep our costs down so are trying to avoid booking hotels or even some of the private allergues. For anyone who walked in Sept. 2019 in a larger group, what was your experience with this please?

I would check out Gronze and some other sites to see the list of albergues and pensions. I have only walked the central route and that was 3 years ago. Doing that will give you a better idea of things.

Thanks, It56n7. I have a couple of guidebooks and have been using them and booking.com to look for places. I hadn't thought of Gronze but have now used it and it's given me a better idea of what is available.

If you can't speak Spanish you can open Gronze.com in google and it will translate the reviews of the different albergues into whichever language you want.

I would like to walk the river route in Tui next month. I can see on google maps exactly where it starts, but it seems a bit overgrown. Has anybody used this route this year or last year...
Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
Hi I have searched everywhere to see if there is a luggage service from Lisbon to Porto. I know there is from Porto to Santiago, but Lisbon ???. Thanks for any info.
