Mid May 2020 Porto - Santiago
Hi all,

This is my first time to walk the pilgrim. I have about 10 days and will start from Porto mid of May.

Do welcome to give comment on the route that I just simply planned based on the google map. And also any albergue along the way.

Day 1 - Povoa de Varzim to Marinhas (21km)
Day 2 - Marinhas - Carreco (26km)
Day 3 - Carreco - Caminha (17km)
Day 4 - Caminda - Valenca/Tui (29km)
Day 5 - Valenca/Tui - O Porrino (14km)
Day 6 - O Porrino to Arcade (22km)
Day 7 - Arcade to A Gandara (25km)
Day 8 - A Gandara to Padron (25km)
Day 9 - Padron to SC (20km)

Spare 1 day just in case too tired and walk shorter in between.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hi Joemok,

Welcome to this forum. To get a good idea about stages and albergues, take a look at gronze.com:

There you can see where the albergues are and use it to plan your own stages. Hope this helps.

Open Gronze in Google Chrome because it will translate it (does a good job) into English or any language. You can also download a couple of free apps like Buen Camino which has a section on the coastal camino and Wise Pilgrim. I haven't walked that section but intend to. It looks like it is really pretty and really easy. It will be a good intro for you. Hopefully you will get hooked and then you can discover lots of other camino paths all different and all special.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
