Portuguese Coastal Route - Weather's getting better

After almost constant rain for the past 5 days since Matosinhos was sole occupant of the Albergue Aguancheiro last night - so not too convivial. 100kph wind too! Now in Pension Nigran (as those who have done the route will know), is adjacent to the Camino, and the sun is out! General improvement forecast so I'm looking forward to leaving the Poncho affixed to my Rucksack for the short walk to Vigo tomorrow before I join the Central route at Redonela. Each day closer to Santiago! Bon Camino a todos.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Meldelcamino: Your description of the weather reminded me of the last three days of my Camino Frances into Santiago last October. I will be following your footsteps this September along the Camino Portugues from Lisbon to Santiago. Perhaps I should pack a snorkel and fins, just in case. Ate mais tarde

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Regarding the Minho River Ferry: it was operating last Sunday 3rd May - I took it 3pm (or so) departure from Caminha - so hope it will operate tomorrow for you. Bon Caminho
