Hello everybody
For my next walk I plan to do a Camino from Cape de Vicente, probably via Sagres, then via Santiago do Cacem on to Lisbon where I latch onto the Portuguese to Santiago de Compostella.
I will be wild camping (sensibly) in the section up to Lisbon, occasionally staying at places to clean up.
I realise this was posted before but it was many years ago.
Does anybody know about the route from the South to Lisbon, or have any new thoughts on it?
If not then I will just play it by ear.
Thanks.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Officially wild camping in Portugal is forbidden ! That is a hot item because of the many forest fires. Advise is not to do that !

Thanks for replies. As for fires, it's actually quite cold at this time of year and also, I don't light fires anyway. I am just camping to sleep and will snack cold stuff...eating and drinking in cafes etc.

Even then it is forbidden by LAW ! to camp in the wild and you show disrespect to the Portuguese if you do so !
