...that's YOU and ten others.PLEASE.
As of Thursday morning there are 189 really wonderful reponses to my questionnaire regarding the viability and need for a Post-Camino "refugio" near Muxía(someone mentioned a Half-Way House and I like that): somewhere to collect your thoughts, read your book, write your diary, go say hello to the donkey, wash your smalls, BEFORE getting on that plane.
This project is going to be close to impossible to pull off. I know that. That doesn't stop me from trying. But I need to be able to demonstrate a true interest, and that is where YOU come in.
Will you help me get that number to 200 by Friday evening? Maybe a little more by Monday morning when the decision really has to be made...?
Wish me luck, send me prayers, and courage and light... To do this means making massive changes in my life.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi,

I'd like to help but link takes me to a SIGN UP site with no further info on your specific survey. Could be I'm hitting something wrong...but there it is.

Oh dear. This normally happens if you have already filled in the survey, or if someone else has using your computer (don't ask me how!) It's the Survey site trying to sell you something, not me! It doesn't normally happen; you just go to the 7 question survey and that's it. About three minutes, maybe four if you are kind enough to add a comment (much appreciated).

The link is also on my blog at http://www.pilgrimagetoheresy.blogspot.com

Only 7 more needed to get to 200 in just 9 days. The responses have been so encouraging and I want to thank everyone who has participated.

Two Hundred and One...as of this morning! Thank you all so much. If you haven't already done so though, your opinion is truly needed still. So many people have been kind enough to comment on the viability and need for this sort of "half-way house" as someone put it. Almost everyone has said that they would like to talk about their experiences and especially how their Camino has affected them. Many people also want to do something practical before going back. I am hoping to get the community involved insomuch as we as pilgrims might be able to help out the farmer or the little old lady down the road. Things like that have to be done relatively slowly of course, (especially I think in traditional rural Galicia) but it would be a lovely way of "giving back" to the Camino.
Plodding on with practical plans...whew: so many obstacles I had not considered.
Lucky I am one determined woman.

Just to let you all know that 228 people to date have been kind enough to respond to my questionnaire concerning the viability of a post camino "refuge". Thank you all SO MUCH. Your comments and suggestions have been just overwhelming and so encouraging.
Tuesday next I am going to Santiago (from Marbella) to try to find practical ways of making this dream come true. On Monday I shall be downloading all my responses and trying to put together both qualitative and quantitative data to take with me. If you haven't already answered (there are 7 questions only and it'll take you no more than 3 minutes and "no salesman will call" and all completely anonymous), please, will you add your voice?
Every one counts.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
