Post from relatives?

Well, tomorrow I am off to Barcelona for a long weekend and on the 17 May I leave SJPP on foot, if all goes as planned.
But before I go there is one more thing (oh, I have hundreds of questions but now I am beginning to feel somewhat "que sera, sera")

I have read somewhere how to get mail in Spain (postcards). It would be nice to have mail from relatives waiting for you in Santiago. I think I read it in this excellent forum but now I can not find it.
I remember that one should ask for mail both on the surname and on the Christian name. But what adress is it and what do they write on the envelope so that the postofficestaff holds on to it until I arrive? Is it "Poste restante" like when I send something to myself in a Pilgrims box?

Zeke, Peregrino soon to be.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Many thanks Ivar and to all who have been helping me so far.

I knew I read about the Lista de Correos somewhere, but right now my head seems a bit too small for my thoughts and worries.

Camino Frances here I come!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Ok bear with me. The book is weird, but I've started so I'll finish. In the book, about halfway through is this: "I skipped along a mountain path with Ariel beside me. Then I entered a small...
I am a bourbon and cigar lover! I plan on walking my Camino this summer and was wondering if the bars & restaurants along the Camino Frances had Bourbon available? I am not fond of wine and...
A question that is probably obvious. I'd rather not use Booking.com now after being scammed, so I'm wondering how to book via WhatsApp. Do you pay (Paypal?) in advance when you make a reservation...
I am doing the Norte from April 2024. I have lately really enjoyed floating in floating tanks. I feel that would be an amazing addition to my rest days. I am looking for possibilities along the...
Are there any issues in starting the walk in the afternoon and arriving at the next destination right before the sunset in mid-April so long as you booked your room/bed?
