Post Office Hours in Porto

Porto to Santiago; Sept 2014
Hello:
I land in Porto at 4:00 pm Saturday afternoon on August 30th. My concern is that I have a small suitcase to ship to Ivar and there will be no postal service available on Saturday or Sunday.

Can anyone share what days and hours the postal service is open in Porto? Is there a post office near the Porto airport? I searched online but turned up nothing.

Six weeks away and so many details left to plan. Thanks in advance for your help!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Olá Sue. As far as I am concerned the postoffice on a saturday (Sabado)is opened till 18h00 and there are also openingstimes on the sundays ((Domingo)

This is the one in the center
http://www.oportaldasempresas.com/ctt-correios-de-portugal/ctt-municipio-porto/193

And this should be the one at the airport which should be opened till 17h00 on saturdays

http://www.oportaldasempresas.com/ctt-correios-de-portugal/ctt-aeroporto-do-porto/230

If you land there ask for "os correios" which means postoffice in the Portugese language

Hope you will have luck

Bom caminho

WARNING, the best website for you to visit should be the one from the Portuguese Post Office, since most of those companie websites have the schedules and timetables not updated for a long time.

So, for Saturday you have:
MUNÍCIPIO (PORTO)
PRAÇA GENERAL HUMBERTO DELGADO 4000-999 PORTO
Telefone:
223400202 Fax: 223400206
Horário Normal

From Monday to Friday:08:00 - 21:00

Saturday:09:00 - 18:00
It's not open on Sundays has it is advertised on the website that @Albertinho posted.

AEROPORTO DO PORTO
Avª DAS NAÇÕES E COMUNIDADES LUSÍADAS 4470-995 MAIA
Telefone:
229400011 Fax: 229400012
Horário Normal:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 21:00

Saturday: 09:00 to 12:30/14:00 to 17:00

Sunday: 09:00 to 12:30/14:00 to 17:00

Bear in mind also that, the Porto airport, it’s not located in Porto, but on a place called Maia, which stays outside from Porto. You’ll have to catch the Metro for you to reach the center of Porto.

Bom Caminho.
