Posting parcel from Bayonne to Santiago

I am thinking of posting my excess luggage to Santiago from Bayonne as I want to start walking to Orisson a couple of hours after arriving in SJPDP. Anyone have any experience with the Bayonne post office and whether the luggage turned up in Santiago?
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I sent a package from Bayonne to the United States and the service was great. The people in the post office were friendly and helpful and the package traveled much more swiftly than I had anticipated.

In St Jean you can use the Express Bourricot service, it's more expensive, but easy and reliable.. Just bring them your bag or parcel, and they will deliver it to Hostal Lasalle in Santiago, where you will receive a discount on a room if you want to stay there.
