Less than three weeks to go. I am going to post extra stuff to Santiago from SJPDP. Anybody have any problems using the post office and their belongings arriving at the Correos or Ivar's. Were you able to work out the difference in cost between posting in France at SJPDP versus waiting until Pamplona? Express Bourricot is almost double the price but more convenient. A budget issue.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I used the post office in SJPdP to forward my airline travel clothes to Ivar. Easy Peasy. I didn't even think about waiting to get to Pamplona. I knew I didn't want to carry extra wait over the Pyrenees. I'm so excited for you! Buen Camino! :)

On the pilgrims office 39 rue de la citadelle at SJPP the volunteers will give you all advices you need for that.

Do you know approx how much it cost? I am planning on posting a few kilos to Ivar, the Express Bouricot service is 70 euros. Ivar's charges is about 20 euros and I am unsure how much it costs from France to Spain. I have the Spanish rates.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I used Express Bourricot because it was easy, and I'm lazy. :p
I also got a nice discount on a room where the luggage is stored in Santiago - Hostal Lasalle - for using the service. Sure, I probably paid twice as much as using the post office and shipping to Ivar, but when you think about spreading the cost over the duration of the Camino, or in relationship to the costs of flights, etc. it's very reasonable.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
You may be able to replace all those things in Santiago for the postage and storage costs. Great inexpensive shopping there!

My son mailed a set of non-Camino clothes from SJPdP to Ivar in SdC. The parcel never made it to SdC; son was not happy.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

I had heard that mailing from France to Spain could be iffy. Another reason I opted to use Express Bourricot.

Gosh I don't recall the cost. The post office in SJPdP is on the way to the pilgrims office from the train station. It wouldn't hurt to stop by and ask. I know I didn't pay 70 it was much less then that. but I don't remember how much it weighed either. Express Bouricot seems pretty pricey. :)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
