Private rooms with power outlets during October/November

I am planning to hike the Frances in October 2013. I use a sleep Apnea machine to get a good night sleep. So i would need a power outlet closer to my bed. I think it would be difficult to get this in refuges. So, i am wondering how easy it would be to have access to private rooms along the Frances during October and beginning of November, either at Pensions or hotels.

You can stay at any number of hostals along the Camino Frances, and they usually have a power outlet right above the bed, next to the light switch. I always looked out for them because I wanted to watch 'TV' on my Blackberry Playbook while in bed! Private albergues often have single/double rooms, but you may have to get in quick if the route is busy. If you get to the albergues before other pilgrims, you'll often find a bunk with a power outlet next to it. In October everything is open, but I haven't walked in November so don't know what will be open or how busy it will be. Other pilgrims will advise you there. There aren't hostals in every village, but you can adjust your walking schedule to make sure you walk through those villages to the next town with a hostal.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Raj,

To begin your search for private lodging places (Hospedajes) along the Camino Frances use this Mundicamino website set for the Camino Frances.

Click on the Etapas one by one. Then click Hospedajes to see a brief list of tourist accommodation, ie NOT pilgrim albergues, for each section.

You can also translate the page automatically into English. For lodging info for further stops along the way click the orange arrow to a higher Etapa on the right of the page.

Happy searching and Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith
