A series of films will be shown during the promotion of the camino in Paris.
La Junta de Castilla y Leon has made Paris the epicentre during the past two days of the tourist promotion of the Camino de Santiago, with a series of acts that have included the presentation of a tourist guide, gastronomy and culture, and a series of films related to the route.

From the "Kilometer Zero" Route de Paris, at the foot of the Tour de Saint Jacques, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, María José Salgueiro, today launched symbolically the Camino de Santiago, accompanied by charges of the autonomous region, Paris City Council members and members of the French Association of Friends of Santiago.

"I think it is a privilege and a luxury that we can be making these statements inside the tower of Saint Jacques (Santiago, in French), which is never opened," Efe said Salgueiro, adding that what the Board is trying that "increasingly" out of that autonomous community "is known the Way to Santiago Castilla y León".

The screening of "The Milky Way", the film made in France by Luis Buñuel, will open at the Cervantes Institute in Paris, the next day 7 this cycle of films, to be followed in planning the film "Pèlerins. Saint Jacu ... The Mecque "by Coline serrau (2006).

The counselor has participated this morning in other activities promoting the pilgrimage route that runs through Castile and territories, as organized in a shopping center, considered one of the largest in Europe, located in the Parisian business district La Défense.

In the cultural and gastronomic tour Caballero provides information on cultural and religious essence of the Camino de Santiago in Castille-Leon and proposals for leisure, tourism and gastronomy.

The visit of Maria Jose Salqueiro concludes with the presentation of tourism in Castilla y Leon and the Jacobean Holy Year 2010.
