I have tickets for a month's stay in Spain starting in Barcelona and ending in SDC following hiking the Portuguese route in from Tuy over 5 to 6 days. I will be touring Spain several cities from east to west, and wish to get myself from Leon to SDC (there is a late-arriving bus only, form what I could see) and drop off excess luggage at the hotel we plan to use once we complete hike. I would like to repeat the Portuguese hike from Tuy. Question-- are there any expeditious ways to get from Leon- SDC to Tuy that would involve only one day of travel as opposed to two days?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Forgot to mention that I would be doing this in July, the height of the pilgrim season and hopefully more public transport available.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Doesn't look good to get from Leon to Tui via Santiago by public transport within a day. There are regular trains from Santiago to Vigo and then a daily train from there to Tui at 19:42 but neither the coach or train from Leon to Santiago arrives early enough to do the onward journey to Tui the same day.

Have you considered a one way car rental from Leon to Vigo, stopping at Santiago to drop off luggage? You could then get the evening train to Tui. Might be pricey but the alternative is an overnight in Santiago.

Regards
Mig

We found hitch-hiking to be pretty easy from vigo to porto, it took about seven hours.
we had a train ticket but thought the hitch would be more amusing and it was

I would like to walk the river route in Tui next month. I can see on google maps exactly where it starts, but it seems a bit overgrown. Has anybody used this route this year or last year...
Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
Hi I have searched everywhere to see if there is a luggage service from Lisbon to Porto. I know there is from Porto to Santiago, but Lisbon ???. Thanks for any info.
