Hi, from Pamplona would people stay in Puente la reina or another close by town?
Thanks
Austin
I would also recommend the short side trip to

Iglesia de Santa María de Eunate. Very interesting place. All the tour busses go there but it is an extra couple of km.

P la R is a very cute town. I splurged on a small hotel there it was one of my favourite evenings.

Definitely stay in Puente La Reina. I found it charming and the people super-friendly. The lunchtime menu and the normal evening menu at Restaurant Bidean, Calle Mayor, 22 were both outstanding quality and value. I stayed at the Albergue Padres Reparadores, which I enjoyed. Plenty of showers and a beautiful garden to relax in.

I did not stay in Puente la Reina, but it was a very nice town. I forgot some clothes in Pamplona so had to spend a few hours waiting outside an albergue next to the cathedral for my stuff to arrive. It was the first place I remember seeing the storks. There were a number on the roof of the church.

I loved waking up in Puente la Reina a few days ago ~ very special town with such a significant bridge ~ I suggest you stay there ~ we stayed at Hotel el Cerco ~
