Thanks, yes I’ve checked Gronze and saw that. I will contact them a day or two before if I need to. Just wondered if anyone has actually stayed in Puente Villarente in the last few weeks, or saw anywhere that is open (even a pensión). I’m planning a possible itinerary from Burgos to Astorga starting next week, not wanting to walk more than about 15kms per day. Tricky in winter. I’ll probably stay over in Reliegos, and not keen on 25kms next day into León, so hoping to stop in Puente.Says to contact them in winter. Have you tried them?![]()
