I am travelling by bicycle and i love mountain. I would like before to get down to Pamplona to travel along the mountain and to go see something nice maybe a lake, river, baita or a natural reserve. Any suggestions?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Hi Manuele,

There is a lot to see and it is worth stopping in at the tourist information places in both Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Roncesvalles to inquire and maybe get a local map. There are many routes beyond the Camino htat are easy detours and that take hikers/bikers to prehistoric standing stones and stone circles (dolmens, cromlechs, etc) as well as beautiful natural valleys and peaks. Basque Country and Navarra are rich and thick in ancient prehistoric sites. Here's a place to start: http://www.roncesvalles.es/contenidos.php?c=21&s=133&t=1&cat=&idioma=3.

¡Buen camino y buen viaje!
