Hello all. I'm going to be in Santiago de Compostela with my family--we'll be a group of five--next August, and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to experience a queimada in Santiago?

Does anyone have any specific restaurant suggestions or experiences with booking a queimada--or experiencing one without booking? Or even pointing me toward a recent thread on this forum with information would be helpful.

Thank you!

At the parador on Praca Obradoiro (cathedral square in SdC) in the lobby there is a poster advertising a workshop on queimada. I phoned the number and the lady said that if you get a group of people together, she would do the workshop. Of course I didn't take a picture of the poster or the number. And I wasn't with a group, so had to miss out on the experience. Next time I hope. Just ask at the parador.

And don't forget to ask for the price also ;-)
