Questions from India about the Camino

I received this enquiry by PM:

"Hi,
I am from Punjab, India, 62 yrs. old, a SIKH by religion, undertaking Camino Frances, alone, starting from Roncesvalles from May 4, onward. I shall appreciate feedback from friends regarding, a convenient way to travel from Barcelona to Roncesvalles, transportation of my bag (10-12 kg) from stage to stage and other relevant tips and recommendations."

The Bus line for Barcelona to Pamplona is Vibasa: http://www.vibasa.es . There are usually 5 bus connections daily from Barcelona Sants. 7h30 : 15:35: 15:45 (express) 22.45 The standard time is 5.5 hours. At the BCN airport, exit the secured area and walk through the sky tunnel to the left to the Cercania. It will take you to Sants Estació. Sants Estació has both the train station and the bus station you need. There are also 4 trains to Pamplona daily that take 3.5 hours to 4 hours. 7h35 9h20 15h30 17h05

You can get the 6pm bus to Roncesvalles from the main bus station in town. Mon-Fri at 18h00 Sat: 14h00 (Not on Sunday) Or you can take a taxi to Roncesvalles for about €55

You can use Jacotrans or Caminofacil to transport your bag from place to place. They will charge you about €7.50 per stage. If you send your bags ahead you won't be able to stay in many of the traditional albergues who do not accept people with any vehicle backpack. Plan to stay in the private albergues or in small pensiones and hostales.

It would be cheaper to post your excess luggage ahead from the post office to the Camino Helper in Santiago who stores parcels for up to 60 days for €15 - €25 depending on size. It will cost you about €12 to post a 10kg parcel to Santiago. Address your parcel as follows:
Pension Badalada
ATT: [your name here]
Rua Xelmírez, 3
15704 Santiago de Compostela

Good luck!

Hello
I am from Pune, India.
While going through this website I came across the question from the Gentleman from Punjab, India regarding the bus travel from Barcelona to Roncesvalles.
I myself plan to do the route from Roncesvalles to Santiogo next year.
Can you give me the contact details of this Indian person who has done the pilgrimage so that I can contact him and get more information. I will really appreciate it as I can share the experience of a fellow Indian.
Warm Regards
