hi everyone !!

That`s a great forum first of all !!! :D
I am still in a process of planning my Camino and I am looking some more info ....
 The thing is that I still have quite a lot of things I
am not sure about....,well I am still researching ..,
but I need to book my flights from UK ASAP!!!!!
Well ...., my main idea is to combine the camino with
a good , active short breake , I want to walk the
camino , but I don`t have enaught time so I am
thinking to parcially walk and parcially travel it by
bus or train ...
My idea is to land @ one of the spanish Northen
airports and take a bus to certain pont of the camino,
...Lets say land @ Victoria(new Ryanair destination
:) ) and take a bus to Pamplona, afterwards walk a
day or two and take bus to Burgos and then walk again
and take a bus again etc......

.... how does it sounds ???
... someone have done it like this ... ????
many thanks

Goritsa

Questions??

Many pilgrims cover the camino in this way - with tour groups, church groups, school groups, and also individuals with limited time.
Check out this website for an example of an 11 day - walking ± 135kms -guided tour from Roncesvalles with the famous Nancy Frey who wrote the chapter on the camino in the Lonely Planet Guide and also her own book, Pilgrim Stories, based on her thesis for her anthropology doctorate.

If you do the camino this way, you should not stay in the refuges if you are not walking to that town or village. Leave the beds for walking or cycling pilgrims.
Have a wonderful trip!

I use Alltrails a lot here in the US, in Iceland, on the Via Podiensis and a bit on the CF. Will it be useful on the Norte? For example, people here say the "warm up" from Biarritz to Irun (or...
I thought I had this all figured out, but I have ended up with 2 train tickets from San Sebastian (I don't even know if it's the airport or the town) to Irun, instead of ONE that goes all the way...
