Recommendation for a great Auberge in Porto?

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances in 2016, Portuguese in 2017, and Frances again in 2018. Madrid to Ponferrada 2019.
Wondered if anyone had a suggestion for an Auberge in Porto. Last year I began my Camino in St. Jean and was fortunate to have stayed in a wonderful Auberge that had a marvelous Pilgrim meal and ritual. I would like to do the same this year. My plan is to walk from Porto to Santiago to Finisterre and Muxia and then bus to Farroll to walk the Ingles.

Hola

I stayed here last year and can recommend it.
Very kind people, new albergue, clean, organized and a back yard.
Also close to the center.

Hi Chito, Porto is a big city, not a small pilgrim town like St Jean Pied de Port, so unless you stay at the dedicated pilgrim’s albergue above, you will meet few, if any, pilgrims on their way to Santiago.

Most cheap hostels will be frequented by backpackers and kids who like to party.

I always stay at Gallery Hostel - http://www.gallery-hostel.com/en - they do a communal dinner, a good breakfast, and also a free guided walk of their area – which I found very interesting. However, this is not a pilgrim hostel.
