Camino Frances (Summer 2022)
Hello! I walked the Camino Frances in June 2022 from StJPdP to Santiago. Somewhere in the second half of Castilla y Leon and through into Galicia (before Sarria but after the Iron Cross) I met a German woman named Bilou who had stepped out of her front door in Germany and was walking to Santiago AND THEN WALK HOME just like the old pilgrims would have done. I was just wondering if anyone encountered her walking the Camino Frances "backward" as she travelled home. She was by far one of the most interesting people I met on the Camino and we had dinner together a few times. Any news is appreciated!

We began the Camino Frances in late September and met two older women from Norway named Britt and Ellie who were walking round trip. Britt had walked the Camino about 20 times. We had hoped to see them on their return trip but we had to stop walking in Leon due to Covid. We did not encounter your friend along the way. We’ve wondered if our friends completed their round trip.
