Hi Evelyn
There is a Albergue in Rubiães. Un maned but very good. The Caminho passes on the backside where there is a smal red gate. There is a restaurant aprox. 1km furter down the road and a small grocery 1km furter down.

Bom Caninho

You are kind. The Albergue is outwardly very nice but has too many bunks too close together and the services are cramped. The place is designed to look super but is not actually very good. The steward gave the impression that guests are a bit of a menace. The restaurant is OK (but expensive if you are on a tight budget / eastern European) The cafe a kilometer further down is well run and has a grocery, the lady in charge was one of the few people who took the trouble to help me improve my Portugese. That said the hostel was good enough and Redondela was worse.

Don't get me started on Redondela!
