I know we have touched on this before, but I wanted to remind everyone of the fact that you can now reserve your bed in public albergues in Galicia here:

Do you think that post pandemic, it's best to reserve or do you think there's still a place for winging it day by day?

Just a note that the Xunta albergues are still closed. Not sure when they'll re-open, but if you click on the Camino routes and/ or the individual albergues on the website, you'll see a red tag on each albergue that it's still closed.
Not only are they closed, but some of the information seems wrong. At least with regard to the Invierno! Scrolling down to their list of cities on “The Winter Way.”

Click on O Barco, and it brings up the albergue in Mondoñedo

Click on A Rúa and you will see Gontán.

Quiroga — Villalba

Monforte— Baamonde. Etc. Etc.

Surely I am doing something wrong.
