The Credential Route

OPERATION
To the visit wineries or sleep in accommodations on the map, you can obtain a seal or sign your credential. You must only get stamps and signatures from the wineries and accommodation associated with the route. As you fill the card with stamps and signatures you will get rewards plus carrier just because you can get CREDENTIALS Countdown 5% on the purchase of wines in the associated cellars.

HOW TO OBTAIN
The CREDENTIALS delivered in warehouses, hotels and restaurants in the Wine Route of the Camino de Santiago. Remember to ask.

REWARDS
- For each 8 establishments stamped (with a minimum of five wells): Pack of three bottles of wine.
- For every 16 establishments stamped (with a minimum of 11 wells): Lunch or dinner in a restaurant associated with it for two people.
- For staming a full credential (with a minimum of 15 wells): One night accommodation for two people associated retailer and visit to winery with wine tasting.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Sil - no better an example of the commercial Credenciales which led to the Pilgrms Office only accepting their own credencial in Spain and those of the confraternities and amigos groups in other countries. People do turn up at the office with these "Credenciales" and present them obviously to see what they will get.
 
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
