Ryanair cancel all tickets purchased through 3rd party sites

This was on the news in Spain last night. It seems like Ryanair will cancel all reservations that has been made via 3rd party travel sites, like eDreams.com.

Smartertravel.com says:
European low-cost carrier Ryanair will begin canceling bookings made on third-party price-comparison sites it says are illegal. These cancelations will begin for bookings made August 11 and beyond, and will likely account a thousand bookings per day. According to Ryanair, these "screenscraping" sites overcharge for Ryanair tickets and add unnecessary handling charges.

If you booked your ticket on the Ryanair site you are fine. If you booked your Ryanair ticket any other way, I would check to see that your booking is still valid.

Greetings from rainy Santiago,
Ivar

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yes - much publicity here too - the news is saying that the problem is that some people will not find out until they reach the airport but that they will get a refund.

Let's hope it isn't too bad!
