Having just read through posts with differing opinions about who is or is not "a real /true " Pilgrim,I feel sad that this should ever come up.It matters not Why,How,When or even where one makes a pilgrimage,it matters that we go.I feel sorry for anyone who is disappointed by their journey, but they should not let that colour their opinion of other pilgrims they meet or just see on the road.Perhaps I'm just getting old and don't like conflict even verbal jousting, but it makes me sad.Buen Camino to all.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Yeah, I wouldn't sweat it. Not saying I'm the sanest guy in the world or that my arguments are always right, but there sure is a lot of BS and oddity on this forum at times. Sometimes it can be amusing to read and other times it leaves me thinking "what the.....?".

I agree. Pilgrimage, walking, hiking or whatever we choose to call it is not a competitive sport.

I see the years 2013, 2014 and 2015 under your profile photo. Perhaps you don't remember that the topic was once interesting to you, too, before you started and when you heard or read conflicting advice about how to prepare for and what to expect of your first Camino?

The CAMINO is and always will be of interest to me,what I have a problem with is critical comments on how others do their pilgrimage.Whilst we are. not all equal in each others eyes,in God's we are.

Hi Philip, you are so wright. For me the Camino is become a part of my life, and I love it. It all started with my wife walking her first Camino a few years ago .
For me personal , everyone that walks a long / short or what ever distance is a pilgrim.
I wish you well, Peter.
