Does anyone have an idea if an Alsa bus will wait till a certain Renfe train arrives?

For instance Renfe train arrives at 16.45 h in Sahagun. Only bus from Sahagun to Carrion de los Condes on that specific day leaves at 16.45h.Must say that both stations are ( if google maps are to be trusted ) close to each other.

Does someone have experience with these kind of timetables?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
In my experience - not. Sorry, two completely different companies/systems and they don't have any communication system established between them. Buen Camino, SY

PS There might be the occasional compassionate bus driver that waits, but I wouldn't really count on that ...

Hi, Sabine,
I wouldn't count on catching that bus. This summer I made the same plan and missed the bus. Tried to hitchhike "backwards" on Camino to CdlC to meet a friend but had no luck for 3 hours. It was already late and as I was heading into the center of Sahagun I saw a taxi parked inside opened garage of one of the houses on the righthand side (on the Camino: https://www.google.si/maps/place/Ta...84d835a5c!8m2!3d42.3711482!4d-5.0243857?hl=sl). The driver already finished for the day but I negotiated the ride for 30€.

Bus stop in Sahagun is outside Hotel Puerta de Sahagun on Ctra.Burgos (https://www.google.si/maps/place/Ho...c9c94190e!8m2!3d42.3698671!4d-5.0202262?hl=sl) and easily accessible over the rail tracks, through the fence and to the right. You can't miss it.

Hope that helps a bit.

Cheers you lovely people!

Found the answer : Palencia it will be. Train arrives around 16h. Then two different buses from different companies, one at 18h and other 18.30. Will be a safer bet! Two hours to spend in Palencia..pretty sure I will find a cafeteria to keep me occupied. ;)

You could try Renfe train Madrid to Palencia and Palencia to Fromista. Then taxi 20km from Fromista to Carrion de los Condes.

In 2012, when I stepped out of the train in Sahagun, there were 2 taxis waiting for customers in the front of the station.
I think I paid 25 € for the trip to Carrion...

Buen Camino, Jacques-D.
