Hi everyone!

I started my Camino last year from SJPP and walked until Burgos. This year I will walk from Burgos until Santiago. Can I use the same credencial I used last year (less than half of it is full)? Does anyone know what will be counted as my starting point once I get my "Compostela"? Just curious :)

Thank you!

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
You get your compostela for just the last 100km, so no worries there.

The compostela doesn't say where your starting point was, for that you have to get a certificate of distance.
This certificate states the arrival date, the starting date and starting point, the amount of kilometres completed and the chosen route.
For, I believe 3Euro, available at the same pilgrim office in Santiago where you get your compostela.

I'm not sure what they would fill in for starting point, date etc. if you do the pilgrimage in more then one stage......

Not a problem. We did exactly the same as you - walked from SJPP to Burgos one year, then came back the next and walked from Burgos to Santiago. We used our old passports, only problem was they were filled up well before we got to Santiago and we had to get another one. But that wasn't a problem either.

Thank you all for the replies! I'm starting to walk on 1st of May, can't wait to be back on the Camino!!!

Totu,
I am starting in Burgos using the credential I got in San Jean Pied du Port in 2102.
I will be walking slowly, expecting to reach Santiago on 14th of May and staying there 3 nights before flying home. You will probably overtake me. I wear a turquoise rucksack with Forum badge and Irish badge on the back.
Buen Camino to you
