I’ll be arriving in Santiago about October 7 after walking the Portugues Coastal and am finding many of the popular accommodations sold out. Is there some events in the city beyond the usual? I know that there are still many place to choose from but just seems that the city will be crowded at that time. Thanks for any insight.

It's always busy I think. (maybe except Winter)
I'm seeing lots of rooms available for 7th Oct.
Is there a specific type of accommodation you are looking for?
