Hi I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to post this but looking for people to share a private transfer to Sarria on 4th September.

We are 2 female travellers heading on our first Camino Frances we fly from Dublin to Santiago and arrive at 1620 approx

Failing that any advice on how to get to Sarria as early as possible would be appreciated???

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
It might be cutting it too fine, but there's a train from Santiago to Sarria at 18:07 (arriving 22:00). There are buses from the airport to the city centre every half an hour (journey takes 30-40 mins), so you'd need to catch the 5pm bus to make it on time... otherwise a taxi journey should take about 15-20 mins.

Edit: Another option would be to catch a bus directly from the airport to Lugo. The bus (Empresa Freire company) leaves at 18:45 and arrives 20:30. Then either catch the train from Lugo to Sarria at 21:27, or else spend the night in Lugo and head to Sarria early the next morning (it's only 25 minutes away by train!)

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Jan D got it right, Sarria is n-o-t an international hub of transportation, nothing direct from Santiago must combine buses and buses or with the trains. Put up here a request for taxi sharing Santiago airport to Sarria by taxi is about 90 Euro takes right at 2 hours.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.
