Santona to Santander 2nd time.

While many people stop in Guemes as the break between Santona and Santander, can anyone recommend an alternative route and appropriate stop. I have stayed in Guemes before but this time I would like to try a more costal route after Noja. Someplace like Ajo looks good but accomodation seems more sparce on any alternative route showing up in Buen Camino etc.

This albergue is on the original, marked Camino del Norte between Santoña and Santander. Have a look at Gronze reviews. I stayed there and recommend it as well.
