I can't believe that it is already mid February and I am packing to head off to Spain. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I will be attending a wedding in Spain and arranged a free week to do some walking on the Camino. I have done bits and pieces of the Camino over the years while vacationing in Spain (I have family there), but have never been to Galicia. I think I am prepared for the rain.

I know it's only a short journey compared to most here, but I am excited just the same. I did a final 14 mile hike with my all my gear today and it went great. It was a sunny 77 degrees here in Northern California today!

I'm dreaming of being able to get away for 30+ days on the Camino.....maybe 2017!!!

I love reading this forum and will give a full trip report when I get back.
