Sarria to santiago

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Sarria to santiago for the third time, have my accommodation pre booked this time round can't wait. How do I go about having my bag transported on one or two of the days.

When you check-in ask the host or hospitalero at your accommodation stops to help you with baggage transport for the next day. Most places have the necessary transport info and system already in place with the two reputable providers JacoTrans and the Correos.

Great thanks a lot...

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Late October 2015 after falling I used the Correos transport for my pack from Najera to Santo Domingo de La Calzada. The cost was 4 euros and the service was great. You can book via your smartphone/ text message. See more at http://www.elcaminoconcorreos.es/ ...Too bad that they could not carry me along with the pack!

Hi there Eddeg,

I will be doing Sarria to Santiago in late February. Wish I had time to do more, but that will have to wait a few years.
I would be interested to hear where you have pre booked your accommodations. Message me if you like.
Thanks!

Booked them through booking.com no deposit needed you pay when you stay.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Just visited the Camino Facil site. Boy have prices increased. In 2012 it was 3€ per bag on the last third or so of the Camino, 5€ closer to the start of the CF. Heard from an hospitalero that the bag transport business got a little ... tense at one point, but with a particular company, not Camino Facil, since I mention them in this post, threatening albergues to stop bringing bags to them if they offered enveloppes from their competitors, therefor decreasing the number of clients for the albergues. Not nice

Any suggestions for Arzua? Not much on Booking.com.
I prefer a private room with bath.
Thanks!
There's a place on the left as you enter arzua it's nice stayed there 2 years ago ,il try and find the name and post it up

Casa Teodora was nice, can't remember the price but I think it was quite reasonable when we stayed in June (it was recommended by another forum member). They're not on Booking.com but they have a website and you can email or phone.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Thanks! Their website is a little glitchy, but I just sent them an email. Looks nice.

I had a great hotel in Arzua! Pension Teodora. It is right at the pilgrim fountain. Nice accomodations- although we were locked in our room for two hours until they got a locksmith to fix it! The restaurant is just downstairs.

Teodora emailed me back that they are closed when I will be there. Either for a holiday or they are taking their holiday that week. I'll keep looking.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

My wife & I stayed at Casa Brandariz in Arzua. Beautiful Casa, well kept & delicious dinner. Off the Camino, but they provide free transport for all pilgrims. Hope this helps. Buen Camino!

Great reviews on Tripadvisor also. I booked there a couple of days ago.

Thanks
