A recent thread started with a questions "Where can I buy a Scallop Shell?"
... last night my wife and I went to the grocery store and... there it was, the Scallop shell (Vieira).
€ 1,50 per shell, and you can eat it before you add it to your pack. If you know how to cook it... don't ask me, I would have to google it as well
Anyway, just another option of getting a real one (no plastic here).
