Schengen Visa question

Hi, I'm South African and live in Thailand.
I'm busy filling in the Shengen Visa application, and have the letter from the Confraternity of St James in SA.
The question I have is which category to tick on the visa application? Is it 'tourism' or the other category that includes 'cultural'?
Appreciate your help in this regard.
