Second Camino Countdown!

Time of past OR future Camino
May/June 2016 Camino Frances
September (2017) First stage of Camino Portugués
I walked the Camino last May as a solo walker and found it a great experience, but had to, 'keep pushing' to make it from SJPDP to Santiago in time to meet my schedule. However this year I've persuaded my wife to come along and really looking forward to having her to share it with this time around.
We aren't doing the 'full' Camino (whatever you define that as!), but are overnighting in SJPP on the 1st September, getting transport to Roncesvalles the next day and starting our Camino from there.
We may get to Leon, we may not. We may stay one night (or three) in Pamplona, we may use baggage transfer,we may not. We just want to make 3 weeks worth of memories.
Working on the basis of, 'never make a plan, then nothing can go wrong' we should have a great time!
Hope to see some of you along The Way - we are already counting off the days:)

Buen Camino!

Hopefully my wife and I will see you on the Camino as we will be on our second Camino also. Sounds like a well thought out "Never make a Plan" plan! Buen Camino.

Hi Frank great idea not to make plans, I'll be doing my second Camino next year as well and my wife Carmel will be joining me.
We plan only for 14 days from SJPP to Burgos And hopefully return the following year to finish off to Santiago. Best wishes for your future Camino. Cheers Tony

Great. My wife Gladys, son John and I will be starting our Camino on or about 3rd Sept. No hard and fixed plans; will take it one day at a time. No plans, no disappointments is indeed the way to go. All is in place, except a little difficulty nailing our Madrid/Pamplona/St Jean leg for our start. But looking forward to it. Been in the making for at least 5 years. Oh, and yes, BUEN CAMINO!
